Do spells have an end point?

Do spells have an end point?

I have been wondering about this question for a few years now and still don't know the answer.
So, I cast a spell and that spell has run its course, successful or not but its no longer needed.
Do I now need to stop the spell?
I might be being paranoid now but really, I have started something so is it up to me to put an end to it?
For example, I cast a circle, then I undo that, so is it the same for a spell?

I would say that once the spell has ran its course then there is no need to undo anything.
Just cast your spells and that's it in my opinion.

I would suggest thanking those that you needed to summon to help you if you done this.
But you don't need to end a spell because what is done is done

The answer to your main question is yes, your spells do have an end point and that is when the spell has accomplished its goal.

The problem being that it could be an open-ended spell which might need closure of some sort.
For example a spell which was not properly thought out and worded incorrectly.

I never thought about an 'open spell' but I guess I should as it makes sense. So maybe if a spell is left open it will carry on :o
